About Me

My name is Lauren Wohlfert, I am a science teacher at Fitzgerald High School in Warren, MI. Currently, I teach chemistry and forensic science to 150 tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade students. As a teacher, I strive to encourage learning and scientific exploration with exciting interactive lessons, labs, demonstrations and technology-based instructions so to provide students with an understanding of scientific concepts and a positive learning experience.   In addition to teaching science, I am also the co-advisor of the S.W.A.G. (Students With a Goal) organization at Fitzgerald High School.  Click here to access my classroom website to learn more about the classes I teach.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with friends and family.  In 2015, I married my amazing husband at Michigan State University.  We recently adopted a dog named Scout from San Antionio, Texas and have enjoyed showing him all of the beauty Michigan has to offer.
