Technology has played a huge role in my work as a student, teacher and frequent user of multiple devices.  It has increased my ability to quicky access information, gain insight on student understanding, extend my traditional classroom to include access to the online world and so much more.  Although technology has, in many ways, increased efficiency and effectiveness within my professional and personal life, I am concerned with how the immense use of technology could be affecting human cognitive abilties.
